Messy Kids Designs brings handmade custom clothing, décor, party decorations, quilts and more to your home! This fun shop came to life after Mary Ellen Dalhouse was lucky enough to be a stay at home mom for 3 and a half years to her fun and very busy twin boys. Both Mary Ellen and her mom, Maria were Elementary School Educators with a combined experience of over 30 years before creating Messy Kids Designs. Pulling from their love of children, sewing and creative collaboration their shop Messy Kids Designs came to life and opened it’s virtual doors at Etsy in 2011.

Together they hope to bring fun and creative designs to their customers that are durable enough to stand up to busy kids. They love a good design challenge and welcome custom orders.
Their name? Messy Kids Designs, because life with kids is messy and they wouldn’t have it any other way!
