Holy Hen House! is a collaborative blog made up of women that inspire each other to embrace the unique roles God has given them. When ladies have several conversations happening at once speech becomes indistinct like hens clucking. You’ve heard it before, you know, a mixture of interrupted talking with the occasional outburst of laughter. However, their talk is not in vain it is fulfilling an important purpose. The writers encourage readers with Christian friendship, humor, discernment from God’s Word, and if need be, tough love to steer each other back to God’s will. It’s chatter that matters. Topics include: How can I keep in the Word with my husband? Gratitude in the roles God has planned. What lessons matter most for our children? Coping with grief during miscarriage and baby loss. How do I find a mentor? Fitness for body and soul.

Their purpose reflects Titus 2:3-5,
… teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
So grab a cup of coffee and your favorite chair and draw inspiration from their adventures in loving their families and thriving (or not!) in the home.

I love all of the scripture posted all over the site and within the bodies of the posts!
I appreciate the interviews with mentor ladies – so inspiring!
Mentor Mondays are the best!
I love the the faith and Scripture incorporation is natural and not forced. What an encouragement.
I love that my dearest friend is one of the authors! The photographs paired with Scriptures are also very beautiful and touch my soul in a meaningful way.
Pick one thing?? I like the all of the posts are positive, even if not overly spiritual. You know there is a good message every time. 🙂
