Branding Your Business

Does your business host an event every year such as a golf outing, fundraiser, or networking event?

I can help tie your event together through professionally designed materials with your brand in mind.

Galbraith Carnahan Architects emphasizes their brand throughout their Frisbee Golf outing each year. Custom-designed course maps, course markers, name tags, and even a logo imprinted frisbee golf disc for each player make quite the impact.

10 Fabulous and Free Handwritten Fonts

As I may have previously mentioned I. Love. Fonts. Seriously, Pinterest and a search for ‘great fonts‘ is one total time suck for me (click there and see for yourself!) as I always find a ton of fonts I want or need. Lately I really like handwritten fonts so I figured I’d share a few of them here with you.

If you’re on the hunt for great free fonts to use for commercial purposes, I highly suggest FontSquirrel.com – they have hand picked all of the fonts that are OK to use freely on your commercial work without worrying about copyrights and terms of use. You can download files quickly without the hassle of an account.

Stacked Elephants

Stacked Elephants copy

Oh, Stacked Elephants. I still remember the day I found an image on Pinterest of a stack of three elephants. They were sewn, each with their own fun pattern and had a simple black bead for an eye. They were made from the Ellie and Ollie pattern by Heather Bailey.

That, my friends, was the inspiration behind the Stacked Elephant baby shower invite. An invite that really made my Etsy shop take off.  That was several years ago, and since then I have sold hundreds and hundreds of these adorable little cards. I initially had them offered in just 4 colors. Yesterday I released 3 more colors for a total of 16 variations. Also, for a very small edit fee my customers can create their own color combo – and I’ve done many! I have done so many custom elephant cards I have lost count. In addition, I offer matching thank you cards, cupcake toppers, favor tags, and many more different party decor pieces. It’s so amazing what a tiny piece of inspiration can do and how far it can take you.

Check out more Stacked Elephant creations in my shop.

As a side note – I just visited Heather Bailey’s blog for the first time. If you love sewing, quilting, fabrics or just beautiful things I highly recommend you check it out!

And now off to work on some Etsy order’s. Stacked Elephants, of course!

New Christian Wall Art

As you know by now, I have an affinity for great fonts. It’s no wonder I’m drawn to creating art that involves fun with typography. Below I’ve posted some of my newest listing on Etsy. I’ve also opened up a shop at Society6 where I’ll continue to post some of my favorite wall art pieces. On Etsy, you simply order a digital file that you’ll receive via email. Then you print however and wherever you choose (personal printer on nice cardstock, professional printer, or even a photography for easy framing).
